Retail/Commercial Salesperson

NB Golf Cars of Des Moines is hiring for a Full-Time Retail/Commercial Salesperson! The ideal candidate will have a passion for recreational vehicles, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record in sales. Responsibilities: Sales and Product Knowledge: Sell new and used Club Car golf cars. Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of product features, benefits, and specifications. Stay updated on industry trends and competitor products to provide informed recommendations. Communicate with our suppliers & manufacturers on updates, and other details. Customer Engagement: Establish and maintain strong relationships with customers through effective communication and rapport-building. Understand customer needs and preferences to recommend suitable cars and accessories. Conduct test drives and product demonstrations to showcase features and capabilities. Sales Process: Guide customers through the entire sales process; from initial inquiry to finalizing paperwork and collecting payment. Prepare and present sales quotes, ensuring clarity on pricing, financing options, and warranty details. Negotiate terms and conditions to achieve mutually beneficial agreements. Lead Generation and Follow-Up: Proactively generate leads through various channels, including online inquiries, walk-ins, and promotional events. Follow up with past/present/future customers to nurture leads, facilitate the sales process and maintain our Customer Relationship Management database. Use of social media for posting and selling products and services. Documentation and Record Keeping: Complete all necessary paperwork accurately and promptly, including sales contracts and finance documents. Maintain organized records of customer interactions, sales activities, and inventory. Logistics, Light Maintenance, Commercial & Utility On rare occasions deliver cars to customers. Assist team with light cleaning of building and cars, preparation of work orders and coordinate with our Service Center. Back-up commercial and utility sales as needed. Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have proven sales experience, preferably related to recreational vehicles, but not required. Knowledge of golf cars, LSVs, or similar vehicles is a plus. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong negotiation and closing skills. Familiarity with CRM software and basic computer proficiency. Salary and Benefits: Base salary, plus commission and potential first year earnings of $75,000. Ongoing training and professional development opportunities. One-week paid vacation after 6 months. Hours for Position October-February M-F 8a-5p and March-September M-F 8a-5p & Saturdays 9a-12p.
